I would clean both the short and long connectors. You can also check this video out. This might be the biggest help. Skip to 5 mins unless you want to watch the whole video. Hope this helps.

Hi, this looks like it might be an issue with the LVDS cable. This is the ribbon that connects to the LCD screen. I would recommend cleaning the pins on the ribbon and then testing the unit. If that doesn't resolve the issue then it can be one of the processing chips on the LCD screen but try the ribbons first and see if that resolves your issue. Hope this helps

That's a great question. As long as you keep the flux in a cool dry place, it will out live its 2 year standard shelf life. Any heat will activate the flux, and it will make it prematurely expire. Hope this helps.
